The writing was easy to read, but I was looking for more character development. It would have been a good full novel with a bit more plot.
This is a must-read for anyone who loves werewolf fiction or just fiction in general. It is one of my favorites, and even though I haven't read it in a while, I plan on reading it as soon as I can.
I so enjoyed this book and sincerely hope there will be a sequel. The chemistry between Mason and Dani is electric. If you like a dominant, alpha male character, who happens to be a werewolf, then this is the book for you! Hot!
I enjoyed this book very much it was heart stopping,sexy,romantic all at the same time. I recommend this book to older women and older teens if you enjoy paranormal romance.
This is a fun were-spanking read! Dani, an alpha female who has grown up without a pack, finds herself attracted to the alpha male of a large pack but is unwilling to commit herself to pack life, especially trusting and leaning on others. Mason gives her a few over the knee lessons in respect and obedience, but resists claiming her until she's on board with it.
I enjoyed this first book from Adaline Raine and look forward to reading future books by her.
I normally don't like these kind of book but there is a first time for everything if you like a shifter book that does not sex and bad language every page then this is a you .and it even a good read two thumbs up
I really wish I had paid more attention to the reviews. This reads more like a draft than a finished product. The description hooked me and I sat down prepared to enjoy a nice spanking romance. I was vastly disappointed at first. The first chapter reads like something in the middle of the book. I almost didn't get past it but I wanted to finish the book it since I purchased it. I'm glad I did. The writing started off rough but it got better as the book progressed. The plot was nice but overall it felt like something was missing. Some of the actions seemed unrealistic between two people who didn't know each other. The whole book felt rushed. The author didn't describe the settings where the story took place. There was very little to visualize.. The characters were not really developed until the end of the book. There was a nice preview to the next book in the series at the end of this one. I might give it a try because the writing seems much improved.
